On Saturday night the Pittsburgh Steelers season came to a crushing end with their fifth straight loss – this one eliminating the team from the playoffs.

At one point during the season the Steelers sat at 10-3 and held a two-game lead over the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC North. After ending the regular season on a four-game losing streak, the Steelers lost possession of the AFC North crown and suffered a final defeat in Baltimore with a 28-14 loss.

Following the game a Ravens star player didn’t miss the opportunity to troll former teammate Patrick Queen, who signed a three-year deal with the Steelers ahead of the 2024 season.

Before a Week 16 battle with the Ravens, Queen suggested the game was a chance for the Steelers to get “T-shirts and hats,” in reference to the winner of the game winning the division.

Fast forward a few weeks and former teammate and fellow star linebacker Roquan Smith remembered his words well.

“I think I remember my guy PQ saying the last time we played them was [for] a hat and T-shirt,” Smith said he told reporters after the game. “But I guess he [got] the T-shirt he got on and he’ll be in Cabo or somewhere.”

Queen finished the game with 10 tackles and didn’t hold back on the team’s struggles on the defensive side of the ball after giving up nearly 300 yards on the ground.

“I think we just got too comfortable,” Queen said when asked about the Steelers’ defensive struggles. “We started chasing too many things. I think we just let off the pedal.”

The Steelers will pack their bags for the offseason while the Ravens await the results of Sunday’s game between the Buffalo Bills and Denver Broncos. If the Bills win, the Ravens will travel to Buffalo, but if Denver wins, Baltimore will host the Houston Texans.
