Ravens’ Ben Cleveland Arrested for DUI After Nearly Crashing Truck in Georgia

Baltimore Ravens offensive lineman Ben Cleveland was arrested for driving under the influence (DUI) last week after authorities in Milledgeville, Georgia, suspected him of operating his vehicle while intoxicated.

According to documents from the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office, Cleveland was pulled over on the night of February 12 at approximately 10:25 PM. Officers on patrol had observed his black Ford F-250 swerving dangerously on the road, nearly veering into a ditch. The erratic driving prompted law enforcement to initiate a traffic stop to assess the situation.

During the interaction, Cleveland reportedly admitted to consuming “approximately 3-4 beers” prior to getting behind the wheel. However, officers conducted further tests, and it was later determined that his blood alcohol concentration (BAC) was over twice the legal limit.

The 26-year-old, a third-round selection in the 2021 NFL Draft out of the University of Georgia, was taken into custody following the stop. The Ravens organization has yet to release a statement regarding the incident, and it remains unclear what disciplinary actions, if any, Cleveland may face from the team or the NFL.

This incident marks a concerning development in Cleveland’s career, as the league maintains strict policies on player conduct, particularly regarding substance abuse and DUI-related offenses.
