Payne Haas Makes History with RLPA Player of the Month Win for March
Brisbane Broncos prop Payne Haas has won the Rugby League Players’ Association’s Player of the Month award for March, as voted by NRL players.
Haas was voted March’s Player of the Month ahead of fellow nominees Jye Gray and Terrell May.
This was Haas’ maiden award win after being nominated once before in May 2023.
Haas has kicked off his season with a bang as the Broncos begin their 2025 campaign in impressive style.
His dominant presence was showcased in his brilliant solo try in the Broncos’ Queensland derby win against the Cowboys, adding to his one try assist and two line breaks, and an average of 72 post contact metres per game so far this season.
The Player of the Month award is presented by Levels Network, with the winners and nominees announced by Justin Horo and Willie Mason on their podcast every month.
