While Portis emphasized his strong connection with the city — even joking, “They call me the mayor here” — he acknowledged that his future depends heavily on how the Bucks approach the offseason. His decision to stay or test free agency could hinge on whether Antetokounmpo remains committed to Milwaukee.
“I would love to be in Milwaukee,” Portis reiterated. “But it’s going to be on the organization — who they want to bring back, what direction they want to go.”
