However, their reign was short-lived. In the second match of the afternoon, the Brisbane Broncos stepped up in emphatic fashion, putting on a clinical display against the Canterbury Bulldogs. Under the guidance of Michael Maguire, Brisbane’s star-studded lineup took charge early, racing to a 14-0 halftime lead.
