James Worthy says the LA Lakers have a star who is playing like Moses Malone, he’s at his peak

When you think there are no more records for LeBron James to break, he adds another to his collection.
The Lakers star recently returned to the side following a short break, which journalist Shams Charania explained was for rest and recuperation.
LeBron scored 19 points and added six rebounds and seven assists while Austin Reaves and Anthony Davis showed their scoring prowess by combining for 46 points.
Davis was recently praised by Mavericks star Spencer Dinwiddie, his performances have certainly seen a major improvement in recent weeks.
While LeBron contributed to the Lakers scoring it was his game minutes that proved crucial to his latest record.

LeBron becomes all-time leader in NBA regular season minutes
The 34 minutes that LeBron completed against the Kings helped secure yet another NBA honour in his name. He became the NBA’s all-time leader for regular season minutes with an outstanding 57,471.
Despite being a 4x NBA champion and multiple-time MVP winner this career accolade will be right up there with his achievements.
At the age of 39 LeBron’s injuries have become more frequent resulting in some short breaks away from the game, Stephen A. Smith defended LeBron’s need for recovery time.
LeBron spoke to the media following his latest achievement and explained how his teammates mocked him for the honour.
He said: “The coach came in and congratulated me, my teammates came in and said f**k off. They told me I was old as hell and all that.
“Like I said it’s a pretty cool honour obviously anytime I’m linked with some of the greats to ever play this game. To know that I’ve been available to my teammates and been able to do this at a high level for two decades and be able to put myself in the record book of the game of basketball, which I love so much, and in the best league in the world is very humbling.
LeBron is currently streaks ahead of his nearest competitor in terms of playoff minutes with an impressive 11,158. The King was asked if the playoff minutes mean more than the regular season record.
He said: “I mean they both are special, obviously you try to make your mark and make things happen in the regular season to prepare for the postseason so it’s all part of the process. You know I’ve been able to have some deep playoff runs and play some meaningful basketball games in my career into the postseason so they both have special meanings, you can’t have one without the other.”
List of all-time regular season minute leaders
While we all know that LeBron now tops the prestigious list of NBA players to be blessed with the most regular season court time, some other names are certainly worth exploring.
