Jason Kelce Sends Message to Brother Travis Kelce During AFC Championship Game
While the Philadelphia Eagles marched to the Super Bowl on Sunday without longtime center and leader Jason Kelce who retired in the offseason, he was surely rooting for the City of Brotherly Love and was even in attendance to watch his former team win the NFC and punch their ticket to New Orleans.
However, he also had ties to the AFC Championship Game this weekend, as he has been very vocal in supporting his brother Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs as they try to reach their third consecutive Super Bowl against the Buffalo Bills.
After a Patrick Mahomes rushing touchdown in the fourth quarter to take the lead, Jason was quick to highlight an extremely important block by Travis on the play, which helped pave the way for Mahomes to find the end zone.
“Great block Travislav!!” Jason posted
The two brothers from Cleveland Heights, Ohio, share a special bond both on and off the field. Their connection is not only seen in their incredible football careers but also through their highly successful podcast, “New Heights”, which has become one of the most popular sports podcasts in the U.S.
Now that Jason Kelce has retired from the NFL after an illustrious 13-year career with the Eagles, he is making a name for himself in sports media. He has already become a prominent figure on ESPN, appearing regularly on “Monday NFL Countdown”, and even hosting his own late-night show with his wife, Kylie Kelce.

Despite the heartbreak of losing to his brother in the Super Bowl at the end of the 2022 season and watching the Chiefs claim back-to-back Lombardi Trophies, Jason has remained a steadfast supporter of his brother Travis and the Chiefs.
