Jets’ First-Round Pick Armand Membou Set to Shine with All-Rookie Team Buzz
The New York Jets’ 2025 first-round draft pick, Armand Membou, is already drawing high praise — and expectations — before ever playing a down in the NFL. Selected seventh overall, Membou has been projected to earn a spot on the NFL’s All-Rookie Team, a testament to his talent, work ethic, and rapid development during offseason workouts.
Membou’s early journey is strikingly similar to that of Jets left tackle Olu Fashanu, who was selected 11th overall just a year earlier in 2024. Fashanu’s rookie season was filled with its share of learning curves, media pressure, and the intense demands of adapting to the professional level — all experiences that Membou is now beginning to navigate himself.
Fortunately, Membou appears to be taking the transition in stride, with early signs pointing toward a promising season. Jets head coach Aaron Glenn spoke highly of the rookie’s approach during minicamp.
