ESPN’s Adam Schefter recently discussed the situation on NFL Live, noting that Titans GM Mike Borgonzi is open to listening to offers. “I expect the Cleveland Browns and the New York Giants both to make calls,” Schefter said. “The Titans like Cam Ward and are ready to take him, but these teams have a month to change Tennessee’s mind with an offer they can’t refuse.”

The biggest question remains: what would it take to convince the Titans to move off the No. 1 pick? If Tennessee truly sees Ward as their future quarterback, the price could be too steep for either Cleveland or New York. If not, and the Titans are willing to trade down, they could benefit from a significant haul of draft picks and assets.

For the Browns, giving up valuable draft capital for a player they may not even start in 2025 is a gamble. Yet, if they believe Ward is a franchise-changing talent, the cost might be justified.
