Per NBA insider Jake Fischer, Golden State has reportedly reached out to the Los Angeles Lakers multiple times about the possibility of acquiring LeBron James. The 40-year-old star recently exercised his player option, but that hasn’t stopped the Warriors from testing the waters.
James’ history with the Warriors is one of the NBA’s most iconic rivalries. From 2014 to 2018, his Cleveland Cavaliers clashed with Golden State in four straight Finals, with the Warriors winning three titles and James delivering Cleveland’s unforgettable 3-1 comeback in 2016.
