Savannah James Posts Message After Bryce James’ Big Announcement
Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James and his son Bronny James are making history as the NBA’s first father-son duo. Selected 55th overall by Los Angeles in the 2024 NBA draft, Bronny James has spent much of his rookie season with the G League’s South Bay Lakers, but he did take the floor with his father in the season opener on Oct. 22 against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
The James family is not done producing basketball talent. Bryce James (17), who has starred at Sierra Canyon High School in Los Angeles, officially announced his college commitment in an Instagram post on Wednesday.
The youngest son of LeBron James announced that the next big step in his basketball career will be with the Arizona Wildcats.
With his Instagram post tallying over 3,600 comments in just two hours, Bryce also received a message from his mother, Savannah James.
“So proud of you @_justbryce!!” Savannah wrote on Instagram. “💙❤️ Your silent hustle has definitely not gone unnoticed!! I’m so excited for you and I can’t wait to cheer you on through this journey! 🐻 Down! 💙❤️💙❤️💙❤️”
Bryce James also received a message from his brother, who wrote, “Yessirrrrrrr” in the comments on Instagram.
While there is certainly no guarantee that Bryce James will make the NBA, it is expected that his father will still be playing for at least one more season after this one. For now, the youngest James son is planning to begin his collegiate career at Arizona.
