Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James made NBA history when he and Bronny James shared the floor on Oct. 22 against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Forming the league’s first father-son duo, LeBron and Bronny shared the floor for just under three minutes that night.

Since their opening night appearance, the James duo has appeared in two other games together, totaling 10 minutes shared on the court this season (via NBA stats). The Lakers haven’t had much success with the father-son duo on the court together, getting outscored by 14 points in those minutes.

While much of the James family media coverage has been focused the Lakers duo, LeBron James’ youngest son, Bryce James, is also doing big things on the court.

On Tuesday, Bryce James shared on Instagram that his Sierra Canyon High School basketball team had won the CIF Southern Regional Championship.

“Thank you God,” the 6-foot-6 senior posted on his Instagram story.

Reacting to this major news, LeBron James posted a one-word message on his story.

“AYYYYEEEEEEE,” James exclaimed.

Bryce James scored just three points in the 74-68 win over Redondo Union (h/t Steve Galluzzo of the LA Times). The youngest James son announced his commitment to Arizona in an Instagram post on Jan. 1, drawing responses from his brother and NBA stars like Kevin Durant.

A CIF regional championship is the near-pinnacle of high school sports, with the next step being a state title. As the LA Times reported, James and Sierra Canyon will face Stockton Lincoln on Friday at Golden 1 Center in Sacramento for the state title.
