The Tour Championship gets underway at Manchester Central today.
The top 12 players on the one-year ranking list will battle it out to win the final tournament ahead of the big one – the World Snooker Championship.
World No. 1 Judd Trump and the rest of the four highest ranked players get a bye straight through to the quarter-finals while 2024 champion Mark Williams is one of the remaining eight that will hope to join them over the next two days.
A total prize fund of £500,000 is on offer this week – with £150,000 for the winner of Saturday’s final.
